The Elation Professional Platinum Spot 5R is the future standard for entertainment lighting. This Intelligent Moving Head features the revolutionary, new Philips MSD Platinum 5 R lamp technology. The 160-watt, 7,950 lumen (8,000˚K) Platinum 5 R lamp produces an output comparable to a 575-watt fixture, and offers a short arc and compact design with a bright, even field of light, equating to a highly saturated colour palette. The lamp includes the reflector built-in, providing perfect lamp alignment and a new optical system each time it`s replaced. The Platinum Spot 5R is half the weight and 2/3 the size of a 250-watt Moving Head, plus it is faster than most fixtures in it`s class. Platinum Spot 5R offers a full complement of professional design features, including 8 vibrant dichroic colors; 22 gobos (8 rotating/indexing, 14 static); 3-Facet Rotating Prism effect; Variable Frost (which allows it to function as a hybrid spot/wash); Motorized Iris; Motorized Focus; Variable Speed Shutter/Strobe; and 0-100% Mechanical Dimmer. Operating on 16 DMX channels, the Platinum Spot 5R draws 350W of power, has a 540° (630° optional) pan and 265° tilt and a beam angle of 17°.
